MAIK (pronounced MAKE) is a hybrid development company. We undertake projects from ideation to end product. Our projects span from solutions to everyday problems to experiential concepts and further on to micro and macro level societal improvements.
We profoundly believe that a brand in our day and age should not be limited in its actions by the common definitions and that more than ever the brand has to involve and engage with society and people in new ways to be relevant. Selling a product alone is not enough – it is also not fun enough.
We want to have fun and we want to be relevant. Therefore we have created a company that is not a company like you used to know it. MAIK is a platform for creation – a sketch being marked up every single day. An open structure that is designed to include and to inspire in the profound and idealistic belief that there really are no limits to what can be achieved when the right people are involved.
The only rule we have is that everything we create – must be strong enough to be its own brand. Any project we undertake will therefore have its own identity distant from MAIK, yet be a project by MAIK.

MAIK is Rune Rex and Andreas Sachse. We are backed by a group of farsighted visionaries, talented professionals and bright creative heads who we are proud to call our friends and partners. Without them MAIK would not be what it is.
